The chapel is located on the largest elevation of Bear Island on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, New Hampshire. It can be reached by a short walk from the church docks located in Deep Cove on the west side of the island, as well as by other marked paths. Services are held at 10:00 am Sunday mornings during the summer season. Well behaved dogs are always welcome at St. John's. Sneakers or sturdy shoes for you are highly suggested due to the walk to the chapel. Shorts are also recommended for warmer days. Click to check out the recent Repair Work. |
